Mrs. Donneth Whyte-Wedderburn

Minister · Humanitarian · Entrepreneur · Community Advocate

Mrs. Donneth Whyte-Wedderburn, President and Founder of the Alumni Association, is a minister, humanitarian, entrepreneur, and community advocate. The daughter of the late Mabel Whyte, a dedicated and long-serving teacher at Rock Hall Primary School, Mrs. Whyte-Wedderburn carries forward a legacy of service.

As Founder and CEO of DSK Entertainment & Event Planner and Media, and Family and Friends Connection, Inc., she also leads outreach and empowerment initiatives. She brings skills to elevate our alumni community through events, mentorship, financial literacy, and community projects, strengthening stakeholders’ bonds and driving impactful projects benefiting the community.

Mr. Burchell A. Gibson

Head of Business, RJRGLEANER Communications Group

Burchell A. Gibson is a seasoned corporate executive and strategist with more than 30 years of senior management experience, contributing significantly to organizational leadership and community development.

A graduate of the University of the West Indies, where he studied Statistics and Economics, he further strengthened his leadership capabilities through Transformational Leadership training at the Mona School of Business. He currently serves as Head of Business at The Gleaner Company (Media) Limited within the RJRGLEANER Communications Group, having previously held multiple high-level roles and served on various boards that demonstrate his strong governance and decision-making acumen.

An entrepreneur and avid sportsman, Mr. Gibson embodies balanced, forward-thinking leadership, guided by a steadfast commitment to service, integrity, and progress — principles he continues to advance through his dedicated work with the Rock Hall Primary School Alumni Association.

Ms. Michelle Gibson

Secretary

Ms. Michelle Gibson leverages years of experience in strategic clarity and bold communications to elevate messaging and strengthen stakeholder engagement. As Secretary of the Alumni Association, she helps to drive the mission forward with purpose and impact.

Mr. Marlon Smith

Finance Committee Lead

Mr. Marlon Smith serves as the Finance Committee Lead, bringing a strong foundation of responsibility, commitment, and trust to the Alumni Association. His experience in transportation and as a Florida-licensed Realtor®, Mortgage Loan Originator, and Notary Public has taught him discipline, accountability, and the importance of serving others with integrity. His skills will enhance the association by providing dependable, member-centred guidance and simplifying complex processes with honesty and purpose.

Dr. Carleen Whyte-McNee

Director of Health & Wellness

Dr. Carlene Whyte-McNee began her education quest at Rock Hall All-age school under the tutorship of the late Mr. Downer and Mrs. Heslop, learning the importance of education, overcoming challenges, and serving others. This led her to a nursing career where she advanced to become an autonomous family nurse practitioner and also served as an educator and adjunct professor for nursing students. She has served on numerous boards and volunteers in the underserved community. She appears regularly on Wavs1170 AM radio discussing health care, and serves as Director for the Alumni Health and Wellness Committee.

Mrs. Kayon Hutchinson-Moore

Public Relations Lead

Mrs. Kayon Hutchinson-Moore serves as the Public Relations Lead for the Rock Hall Primary School Alumni Association, guiding communications strategy and community outreach to strengthen the alumni’s public presence.

Ms. Adgema Robinson

Head of Youth Empowerment

Adgema Robinson serves as Co-Founder of the Tools for School non-profit organization and brings over 10 years of experience in childcare and early childhood development. Known for strong leadership and program development expertise, she has successfully led initiatives that improve access to educational resources and supportive learning environments for young children. She contributes to the Rock Hall Alumni Board Governance Committee as Head of Youth Empowerment, bringing expertise in organizational strategy and program oversight.

Mrs. Sylvia Whyte-Robinson

Mrs. Sylvia Whyte-Robinson serves as an accountant and property manager in the hotel industry for over 38 years. She has volunteered extensively, serving 11 years as Treasurer of the Port Antonio Red Cross and holding roles of Chairman, President, and Bursar on a school executive board. Her service shows commitment, passion, and integrity. Her Christian faith guides her with the belief “with God all things are possible.” She is dedicated to children’s education and is a Titchfield High alumna who studied Business and Management at UWI extension.

Ms. Dennise Edwards

Ms. Dennise Edwards is a proud native of Rock Hall and a dedicated servant leader. She is a skilled cosmetologist and compassionate nurse who has built a successful career in the United States. Now, she brings her talents back home to make a difference as a valued member of the Alumni Board and an active member of the Health Committee. Dennise is passionate about using her expertise to uplift and empower the community and its environs.

Mrs. Marcia Edwards Dean

Marcia Edwards Dean is a proud alumna of Rock Hall Primary School, bringing valuable skills in leadership, community service, and compassion as a registered nurse, ordained minister, and experienced leader. She currently serves on the Health and the Youth and Empowerment Committees. Her missionary work and board leadership experience will drive initiatives and support our members and elevate the community.

Mrs. Donna Cousins-Bennett

Ms. Donna Cousins-Bennett brings over 31 years of experience in education, with a focus on special needs and inclusive programs. Her impressive background includes developing afterschool programs for students with disabilities and receiving numerous awards for excellence in teaching. Ms. Cousins-Bennett is an active member of the Communications & Youth & Empowerment Committees. She leverages her expertise to support the community, fostering growth and opportunity for all.

Mr. Karl Bell

Mr. Karl Bell brings over 40 years of technical expertise in refrigeration, air conditioning, and solar systems. With a heart for service, he consistently supports the alumni community, the primary school, and the broader community, volunteering his time and skills to make a positive impact. He has a passion for giving and building the community.

Mr. Evroy Mitchell

Mr. Evroy Mitchell is passionate about serving the community that helped shape his life. He applies his experience as a health care professional and a longtime community activist to help transform the lives of stakeholders and uplift the community he once called home.
